All churches must pay a parish share (quota) to Manchester Diocese. This is used mainly to support stipendiary clergy and the ministry and mission across the Diocese. Our parish share for 2026 is £27,038 (£27,563 less a discount of £525 for paying our share in full in 2025).
In addition, we have general running costs - lighting, heating, insurance, church supplies etc. The only income we receive is from the kind donations of individuals.
